Ordeno respects your privacy. This privacy policy explains which personal data we collect, why we do so and what rights you have. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data do we collect?

  • Your name, address, email address and phone number, when you place an order or contact us.
  • Order and payment details, such as which products you bought and how you paid.
  • Your email address, if you sign up for our newsletter.
  • Technical data, such as your IP address, browser and how you use our website (through cookies).

What do we use your data for?

  • To process and ship your order and handle any returns (performance of the contract).
  • To answer your questions (legitimate interest).
  • To send you our newsletter, only if you have given consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • To improve our website and, with your consent, show relevant ads.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as keeping tax records.

Who do we share your data with?

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties we need to provide our service, such as:

  • Shopify (our online store software)
  • Payment providers, such as Shopify Payments, Mollie and Klarna
  • Carriers and our suppliers (such as CJdropshipping), to ship and deliver your order
  • Services for our emails and product reviews, if you sign up for the newsletter or leave a review

We have agreements with these parties about protecting your data. Some of them process data outside the European Union; appropriate safeguards apply, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your data no longer than necessary. We keep order and invoice data for 7 years because the law requires it. We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

We use functional cookies that the website needs to work, such as for your cart. We only place analytics and marketing cookies if you agree to them through the cookie banner.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict processing, to object and to data portability. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, email info@ordeno.nl. We will respond within one month.

Have a complaint about how we handle your data? Let us know and we will solve it together. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the data protection authority in your country.
